Football fans were treated to a special type of soccer match this evening as Hungary hosted defending champions Portugal for the two teams opener in the EURO 2020 finals.
The match had for the first time since Covid-19 struck see all seats filled with fans and no any masks or social distancing practised.
Most of the fans were arguably here to watch Cristiano Ronaldo lead his team in their title defence and they sure made to enjoy every moment as they jeered Ronaldo with every touch he made.
After being denied a clear scoring opportunity by Diego Jota early on, Ronaldo finally got his big chance to score near the end of the first half but what he did left many fans rather shocked than angry.
The Juventus star had a great chance to tap in to the net after meeting a cross from the side but instead he mistimed his shot thus firing a top bins finish into the crowd.
