One Of The Best Players Of The Current Generation Who Has Never Won A Trophy In His Career

Winning trophies has always been the dream of every upcoming young player in football. Failing to win a trophy for a player despite how good they are is considered a failure like the time Messi didn't have an international trophy with his country Argentina.

However, he has enjoyed a successful club career winning numerous trophies at Camp Nou before he moved to Ligue 1 at Paris Saint-Germain. He is one of the most decorated players in the history of football with the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Dani Alves, Andres Iniesta, Ryan Giggs, and Xavi Hernandez.

However, other great players in football only won a few trophies in their careers despite being some of the best, and others are yet to win. In the current generation, the great player who is yet to win any trophy in his career is current England captain and Spurs forward Harry Kane.

The 28-year-old English international has played his senior football career at Tottenham Hotspur and despite being one of the best strikers in Europe he has not won a single trophy whether at club level or international level.

He is one of the most reliable strikers in Europe who is not fat behind Robert Lewandowski or Luis Suarez in goal-scoring ability but has never managed to help Spurs end trophy drought with the last trophy the club won being in 2008 before Kane was signed.

He has enjoyed some personal accolades in his career with three Premier League golden boots and also a world cup golden boot which he won in 2018. However, Kane has struggled to wear silverware and his only solution could be joining a bigger club.

He was linked with a move away from Spurs this year in the summer but couldn't secure. He wanted to leave but Manchester City which seemed to be his next destination didn't make an official bid for him. He could leave in the next few seasons which could be his only solution to win a trophy.
