William Ruto is the current president of the republic of Kenya after winning the August 2022 general election. In the run up to the election, there are some people in his inner cycle who helped him in campaigns and strengthening his UDA party.
President William Ruto had never declared the English Premier League team he is supporting. Even in Kenya Premier League, he has never disclosed his team. Maybe he is not a football fan. Unlike Raila who is an Arsenal and Gor Mahia fan, the president's favorite EPL club is unknown . However, there are some of his allies who are strong supporters of Manchester United. Three of them are Millicent Omanga, Kipchumba Murkomen and Ndindi Nyoro.
Millicent Omanga vied for Nairobi Woman Representative seat on UDA party but lost to Esther Passaris of ODM. She is strong supporter of Manchester United. She always express her happiness whenever Manchester United wins. In the recent Carabao cup that red devils won. She updated on her facebook page that they are now going for FA, Europa and English Premier League silverwares.
Murkomen is also another Ruto ally who is a Manchester United fan. The CS for Roads recently posted a photo of himself watching the game between Manchester United and Barcelona at Old Trafford. On the day Manchester United won the Europa League trophy, the CS expressed his excitement on his facebook and twitter accounts.
He is the MP for Kiharu constituency in Murang'a County. Ndindi Nyoro is one of the Mt Kenya leaders who stood with William Ruto after the latter's fallout with Uhuru Kenyatta in 2018. They rebelled against Uhuru's administration following the handshake between the former president and Raila Odinga.
Ndindi is also a Manchester United fan. After Manchester United lost 7-0 to Liverpool last Sunday, Ndindi posted that they 'Manchester United' do what they want. They win when they want and let other smaller entities win when they want. He added that Liverpool is one of those smaller entities.
