Sunguti is now appealing to the top leaders in the country who love sports to move in with speed and salvage his team from the current financial situation.

"We know our Deputy President William Ruto, Mike Sonko, ODM leader Raila Odinga and Musalia Mudavadi love youths and sports and we are requesting them to help our team out of this financial trouble, we need a van for travelling to lower our transport cost and money to settle our bills," he added.

On the same note, he has asked the ministry of Youth and Sports in Bungoma county to consider uplifting the team because it carries the flag of the county.

"It is my solemn request to our CECM for Gender, Youths and Culture Evelyn Kakai to pay a visit to our team and cushion it against adverse economic status," he said.

It should also be remembered that Muyayi FC hails from the same ward with Bungoma Governor Wycliffe Wafula Wangamati who also loves sports.
