Today, Kenya was privileged to receive the most valued fifa World Cup Trophy which several countries in the globe compete for it in every four years. It is usually taken to some selected member countries before the competition which for 2022 will be held in Qatar.
Today, the aeroplane carrying the trophy landed at JKIA, Nairobi under Brazilian legendary coach Juliano Belleti at 12:30 PM. It was received by Kenya's cabinet Secretary for Tourism Najib Balala together with Nairobi Governor Ann Kananu.
Taking to his Facebook account, Balala shared some of the photos of the event just after the trophy landed in the country. Kenyans reacted to one of the photos where the fifa Aeroplane carrying the trophy was sprayed with high velocity water.
The activity is called water salute. It is a touching airport tradition which is usually done to honor millitary veterans, foreign dignitaries and New airlines service. Salute usually involves two firefighting rigs spraying arcs of water on an aeroplane upon arrival.
