Juventus and Portugal forward Christiano Ronaldo has been one of the best players in the world for over a decade now, but at 36 years old his time might be up and it is time to finally quit.During yesterday's game against Belgium they lost by 1 goal and got knocked out of the competition. This is set to be Ronaldo's final European championship appearance as he is set to be 40 years by the time the next one arrives in 2024.Age is not on his side and as much he can not admit it his good days are over.It would be advisable if he quit and retired rather than stay in the game and just be a bad version if his old self.He has nothing to lose at this point as he has already won the competition back 2016, he is the tournament's all time leading top scorer with 14 goals and and he just equalled the tally for most international goals at 109.With this statistics he has already cemented his place as one of the greatest international players of all time thus quitting would not be that bad. Most people however feel he won't as he is eager to break the tie of most international goals and be number one but we will have to wait and see.
