Manchester United are set to approach Bundesliga giants Bayern Munchen for French midfielder, Leon Goretzka. With Paul Pogba's future currently in doubt due to a stand-off in contract renewal, the Red Devils are looking for an alternative for Pogba incase he makes his way out of the club. Pogba joined Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 and has managed to make quite a number of appearances for the club.
However, Pogba recently turned down Manchester United's offer of a new contract. The club has now resorted to get a favourable replacement for the midfielder with United eyeing of Leon Goretzka as the favourable replacement. However, Manchester United have still not made any attempt in signing the player and has not made any exclusive talks with both the player and Bayern Munchen.
Manchester United have however, began talks with Pogba but aren't assured whether he will renew his contact or not with the formidable midfielder left with one year to the expiry of his term at Manchester United. Leon Goretzka is similarly facing the same contract stand-off with Bayern Munchen with the club reluctant on offering him a new contract. Goretzka has only spent three years at the club from Schalke 04 and would wish to venture in a different league incase he doesn't renew his contact with Bayern Munchen.
