2022/23 English Premier League Season has been the most captivating season of this decade. Teams are much stronger and more competitive all around. Most teams have had to build squads worth the competition of course.
The battle for the title of the league ain't lost yet as Manchester City, Newcastle United and Manchester United are still in the race to catch up to league leaders Arsenal who sit at the top of the table with 44 points, 7 points clear with the last league champions Man City. Mikel Arteta's side has performed excellently this season, thanks to Arteta's efforts of building the most, if not, the youngest competitive squad in England. The Gunners have a chance to end their long spell of not winning the EPL title.
Man City too are in the race of course for the title despite having a spectacular record in this decade for the trophy, having won it five times now under Pep Guardiola and are looking to bag in more trophies after adding striker Erling Haaland, currently EPL's Top Scorer with 21 premier league goals. But, all this will also be impacted by upcoming games against Manchester United and also leaders Arsenal.
Newcastle United sit in third place with 34 points, not bad for a team that has transitioned over less than two years after their takeover by Saudi's Moguls. With the investment laid in this team, it's a hell of a race for the team, if they wont be able to put up a challenge worth lifting the EPL, at least for them playing in the UEFA Champions League next season gotta mean something for them.
Manchester United on the other hand have something cooking too. Since the appointment of Eric Ten Haag as the Red Devils Head Coach back in 2022, the teams has transformed significantly and with no doubt it's headed in the right direction. Man United look to hit back to Man City in their upcoming fixture as a revenge for their first leg crash that saw Man City defeat Man United in a 6-3 win at Etihad. Will Man United keep up their hopes for the league race or at least strengthen their chances of being in the Top 4 and grab a ticket for the Champions League next season.
