Meru Governor kiraitu Murungi turned many heads yesterday after appearing on an interview at Weru TV and claimed that kinoru stadium in meru county spent 3 billion under it's construction.The stadium which was constructed in the year 2015 by meru government has been in it's renovation for 6 months up to date. The stadium which is located 400 meters away from the main Tigania - Meru highway has been used by the sport ministry to launch sport activities such as athletic, skating, bike racing and ball games. According to the source the government of meru has already spent ksh 1million under its renovation. On visiting the stadium you will be welcomed by decorations and green grass which has been well maintained making the site to look neat. The Meru Governor kiraitu Murungi is expected to announce the opening after completion of its renovation. The sport cabinet secretary is expected to visit the stadium next month to check the renovation process and allow sport activities to resume.
