Not Haaland, Aguero or Lukaku: Here is the Striker That Chelsea Need

Chelsea are expected to have another busy summer transfers as Tuchel aims at strengthening his talented side.

The blues have been linked to some great names recently.

With Marina Granovskaia and Chelsea owner reported to have been keen on helping Thomas Tuchel secure a top class striker, questions remain high on who Chelsea really need at the top of their attack.

Sergio Aguero, Romelu Lukaku and Erling Haaland have all been rumoured to be on their way to Chelsea.

However, according a former blues star Wayne Bridge, Chelsea should just sign Harry Kane.

"I’d love to see (Harry)Kane go there, I think he’s brilliant." He said.

It's reported that the England prolific striker will ask for a transfer if Spurs will not qualify for Champions League this season.

And with the current game to game losses by Tottenham, Bridge noted on the possibilities of Harry Kane leaving the North London side in the summer.

"Sometimes money talks. If you look at how Tottenham are doing at the moment, I think there’s a great chance he could end up leaving if he wants to go and win something."

Chelsea is known for having had great strikers in the world. And with that history recalled by the former blues man, Kane's availability must be considered at Chelsea.

"I look at my time at Chelsea and we had (Jimmy Floyd) Hasselbaink, Eidur Gudjohnsen, (Didier) Drogba and (Nicolas) Anelka, then after my time (Diego) Costa, and I don’t see a player in the current team as good as any of these were."

Chelsea's strikers have strangled in front of goal this season. Oliver Giroud, Tammy Abraham and Timo Warner have all not met the standards needed at Chelsea.

Even Tuchel's trials of deploying Havertz upfront has bore little results.

"Tammy Abraham and Olivier Giroud have done well, Havertz has been playing better and Werner has shown glimpses when playing out wide and he looks quite good out there."

"Strikers at Chelsea have something to prove and the ones we had were world-class."

"When you are bought for a fee everyone expects you to hit the ground running and I think there’s pressure on you no matter what, but at Chelsea having people like Drogba and Costa means new players have to live up to that pressure as well." Said Wayne Bridge.

It's likely that Tottenham will find it harder to sell Harry Kane but with the striker demands of playing in Champions League, Chelsea should opt on securing Harry's services.

With his experience in EPL as well as Champions League games, Harry Kane remains the better option for the blues.
