Ronaldo Absent From Portugal Training As Fernando Santos' Side Prepare For Match Against South Korea

Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably one of the best football player in the world. The Portuguese forward left Manchester United on mutual consent and is now a free agent. He is currently the captain of Portugal national team and has played both of his team's opening two matches recording a win in both of the matches. Portugal have qualified for the last 16 after they beat Uruguay by two goals to nil last time out. They now face South Korea in their final group stage match. Cristiano Ronaldo was among the players who were missing in today's Portugal training two days before their match against Qatar.

Portugal head coach Fernando Santos will obviously be looking to rest some of his more important stars as the Portuguese side have secured qualification. A Bruno Fernandes double was enough to secure progression in their game against Uruguay. Portugal will be looking to make it three wins out of three with a victory against South Korea.
