Enthusiastic Kenyan winger on top of his game while on trials in the USL.

Kenyan Leroy Enzugusi is making a name for himself in the American soccer scene. Leon Enzugusi's world fell apart in January when Nashville selected him in the MLS superdraft after previously impressing with Drake University, and then dropped him almost immediately after the pick, for unknown reasons.

Despite 8 months of disappointments, Enzugusi, a winger, has been under the wings of Forward Madison, where he has been on trials. Forward Madison plays in the USL, and after impressing during his trial period, his last match on trial was this week, and what a way to show he is the man Forward Madison are looking for is when he came on as a substitute and found the back of the net to score a sensational goal that saw Forward Madison thrash Minneapolis City 6-0. The Forward Madison Twitter page lit up with the appreciation post below.

If signed by Forward Madison, Enzugusi will be playing in the same league as Phil Mayaka, a Kenyan midfielder also playing in the USL as he is on loan at Colorado Springs. Truly, with talent, if you trust the process, you will soar high.
