Kenyan Striker Were Signs For New Club Days After Leaving Zesco

Former Kenyan international Jesse Were has joined another club just days after seeing off his contract at Zesco. Were parted ways with Zesco upon the end of his contract, a club that he had spent with over five seasons. He left Zesco being their top scorer of all time.

His departure probably was prompted by both parties feeling that it was time to move and try out a new challenge.

Were has today been unveiled as a Kanshansi FC player.Kanshansi is also a Zambian team and he will be hoping to continue with his good form from Zesco. Were started his trade in Kenya, having played for top club's like Gor Mahia before he made the move.He was a Kenyan international back then and scored a few goals, however federation politics might have led to his exile from the team, over a run of over five different coaches. We as Kenyans wish him all the best as he continues to carry the flag high.
