Gor Mahia's Captain, Shakava is Going Nowhere as Management Intervenes

FKF Premier League newbies Kenya Police FC will not sign Gor Mahia's captain Harun Shakava following the intervention of K'Ogalo's management.

Kenya Police FC have already completed the signing of experienced veterans Clifton Miheso, John Mark Makwatta, Musa Mohammed and Duncan Otieno.

Police had high expectations of signing the K'Ogalo defender before their clash against Nzoia Sugar to boost their central defence but the move has hit a block. This is because the club's management had some form of agreement with the experienced centre back.

However, Gor Mahia have been given a boost as their captain took part in the team's final training session ahead of Mashemeji Derby.

Gor Mahia's head coach Mark Harrison is confident that his captain is in the right mentality having played well in Egypt and putting up effort in training.

Harrison condemned Kenya Police FC terming their approach on a contracted player as wrong. He urged the FKF Premier League side to stay away from captain Shakava.
