Harambee Star Legend Osoro to Be Buried on Saturday

Osoro who was 72 years old has passed away last week after suffering a long-term illness of acute respiratory distress. Osoro who was Harambee stars super striker between 1974-1977 and he has helped the national club to beat Seychelles and win the Independence cup which was held In Mahe Seychelles. He was dominated as the sportsman of the month award by a panel of sports journalists from the Kenya sports writers association. The award plus a shilling four hundred to handed to him by Mr. Williams who was the director of the journalist at that time. At that shilling 400 was a huge amount of money and it was capable of sustaining the living standard of a large family. During his time in the national team, the decease has played alongside some great footballers including; late Livingston, late John, and Matthew.

It is undoubtedly that Kenyan sports have lost a living legend.
