Portuguese skipper Cristiano Ronaldo has shown interest in leaving Manchester United after playing there for only one season. The five-time Ballon d'Or winner has reportedly asked the club to leave in the hope to remain to playing in the Champions League.
This decision from the striker comes shortly after Chelsea's new owner Todd Boehly was in talk to discuss a possible move for the former Real Madrid star. Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have also been reported to be seeking Ronaldo's signature with Robert Lewandowski likely to leave the club this summer.
Boehly was reported to be in a meeting with Ronaldo's agent Jorge Mendes discussing a possible move to Stamford for the striker. The Portuguese were the main player for the Red Devils last season when he netted 24 goals across all competition.
He was amazing in his big return to Old Trafford despite the team having an awful run the entire season. The 37-year-old won the team most of the matches next season and proved he still got the magic touch in his late 30s.
If the star will leave this summer here are the players who could widely start in his front three next season. Jadon Sancho is likely to continue in his natural position in the right-wing where he makes a great impact in matches.
Marcus Rashford has what it takes to start on the left-wing where he greatly thrived under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer where he scored more than 20 goals in two consecutive seasons.
Swedish international Anthony Elanga would be the target man as the striker as he was initially a natural number nine before Ralf Rangnick transformed him into a winger.
