Benson Omalla missed Gor Mahia's trip to Rwanda where they are scheduled to meet APR of Rwanda. It will seek to be a tough match as both teams are giants in their own countries. Now that explains why Omalla remained with the under 20's.
The first half ended in a 0-0 only for Harambee stars to break the dreadlock. The first goal was scored by Fortune Omotto at the 62nd minute. Sudan would later equalize at the 85 th minute thanks to Gozoli Nooh. Omalla then scored the winner at the 93nd minute to send Kenya to the semis.
Omalla seems to be a man on form as he even scored a goal in the last outing against Ethiopia where the youngsters won 3:0 with other goals also scored by the likes of Wanyama.
