6.Manchester United-Cristiano Ronaldo-£510,000

Starting at 6th position is Manchester united. It comes as no surprise that The Portuguese maestro is the highest paid in the red devil's squad. He has 18 goals and 3 assist this season.

He has put some exemplary performance this season to go in hand with the amount he earns at Old Trafford. Despite him booking a place at the UEFA Europa league next season he is the highest paid player currently in the league.

5.Arsenal-Thomas Partey-£200,000

Partey was bought by Arsenal in a late deal worth  £45.4m.He is a strong defensive midfielder and has 2 goals and 2 assists to his name this season.

He takes home a cool £200,000 making him the highest player in the Gunner's squad.

4.Tottenham Hotspur-Harry Kane-£200,000

The spurs do not have a good reputation in terms of player salary but with top teams always in their talisman's case they had to do everything to keep him at the north London club.

Harry Kane is the highest paid player in the squad and has put some impressive stats yet again this season with 17 goals and 11 assists to his name.

3.Chelsea-Romelu Lukaku-£325,000

Since his arrival from Italian side Inter Milan, Lukaku has not had the best season so far. Part of the reason was the very high expectations to deliver from the Chelsea supporters which he really has not if we consider his weekly wage.

He has scored a mere 8 goals and 1 assist but will be hope to bounce back come next season.

2.Liverpool-Mohammed Salah-£200,000

This club also don't pay huge salaries to their stars with Salah topping their paycheck. Well, considering the stellar performance the Egyptian King has put this season you might think he is underpaid.

He has 23 goals and 13 assists making him the top scorer and assister in English Football. Surely he should get a raise. He deserves it!!

1.Manchester City-Kevin De Bruyne-£400,000

They are the best team in English football And they defined the meaning of champions with that dramatic comeback on the last day to clinch the tittle for the second time in a row and the 4th time in 5 years.

Man city has been unstoppable this season thanks to De Bruyne's 15 goals and 8 assists. The Belgian surely deserves that kind of paycheck considering he was named player of the season.
