The spurs do not have a good reputation in terms of player salary but with top teams always in their talisman's case they had to do everything to keep him at the north London club.

They are the best team in English football And they defined the meaning of champions with that dramatic comeback on the last day to clinch the tittle for the second time in a row and the 4th time in 5 years.
Man city has been unstoppable this season thanks to De Bruyne's 15 goals and 8 assists. The Belgian surely deserves that kind of paycheck considering he was named player of the season.
