Former Mathare United midfielder Eric Johana is a free agent since the start of the month following the expriry of his contract at Swedish outfit Jonkopings Sodra.
The Harambee Stars midfielder has left Swedish second tier side Jonkopings Sodra after the expiry of his two-year long contract.
Johana who is popularly known as Mapake joined Sodra in January 2020 from Swedish side IF Bromma Boys.

The Swedish club took to their website to thank the former Mathare United midfielder for his contribution in the club for the two year stay wearing the green and white robes.

Johana made fifty appearances for Sodra and scored fourteen goals in the Superettan.
The midfielder had previously played for Swedish club IF Vasalund, home to the Kenyan duo Anthony Wambani and Mohamed Katana.
Johana won the 2016 Kenyan Premier League midfielder of the year and was part of Harambee Stars squad that represented the country in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
