Former AFC Leopards forward Elvis Rupia recently signed for Saudi Arabian side Bisha FC. Rupia came second to Kariobangi Sharks captain Eric Kapaito who won the golden boot award.
Elvis Rupia has had a wonderful season despite his team failing to clinch the Betway Super Cup and the top spot in the KPL.
Rupia was named in Bisha FC's lineup but failed to play as their opponents Al Ain did not turn up for the match. This means that Rupia who was recently named in the Harambee Stars squad has to wait for longer to play for his new side.
The next match will be against Al Akhdoud on Wednesday 15th September, 2021.
Failure by Al Ain to turn up for the match means that Bisha FC will wait for a decision from the league committee regarding the match.
Rupia has since been training with his new Saudi Arabian side since his official unveiling back on Thursday 2nd September, 2021.
Bisha FC is in the Saudi Divison 1 that is the second tier and are fighting for promotion to the Saudi Pro League having invested heavily - signing Tunisian winger Youssef Trabelsi.
