Argentina orchestrated the whole first-half of the game perfectly and lead by two goals at the break of half time. They dominated France from the beginning of the game until the end. France started the first half in good form before things turned around and the opponent improved their overall performance.
France's game against Argentina was elite but some of their players the likes of Ousmane Dembele had implausible play. In the 23 minutes of game, Dembele conceded the penalty that allowed Messi to break the deadlock as he tangled with Di Maria inside the box while Giroud struggled to get any sights of goal as France toiled for long periods against South American opposition. France made a double substitution before half-time in a desperate attempt to rescue their World Cup dreams where Ousmane Dembele and Oliver Giroud went off.

France fans went on in the social media to troll the player with some saying that might be the worst performance ever in a World Cup final from Dembele. They believe he's their worst player because of his poor game.
