Philip Makaya Spoilt for Choices after Shining in USA with College Football

Philip Mayaka who has turned a talk of social media traces his roots back in Kenya.

The player was born and raised in Kawangware.

Mayaka is a regular player for Clemson University in United State's college football for the past two years.

His impressive performances in the midfield position have landed him into a Major League Soccer draft pick 2021.

Yesterday he was among the 176 players selected from various institutions in the USA and Canada for MLS SuperDraft.

MLS SuperDraft is an annual college draft for teams of MLS in the United States or Canada.

It is used by teams to select players who have graduated from college or otherwise been signed by the league.

The Kenyan prospect will be making his first appearance for the selection set to take place next Thursday (21st).

His performances have seen a number of MLS leagues battle for his signature, he is seeded in the number one draft pick.

The youngster earned himself a Generation Adidas contract aimed at raising the level of young profession football talent in the USA.
