Sky sports pundit, Jamie Carragher has given a total of five clubs he is already seeing as potential top four contenders ahead of premier league season that resumes in two week's time.
Carragher's prediction is coming during the time managers and clubs are very busy in the summer recruiting players who will ensure they take the campaign by a storm from the first day.
Because Liverpool and Manchester City have been irreplaceable in the top four in the last decade, Carragher believes that the clubs will still be amongst the top four clubs at the end of next season.
Having finished third last season, the defender holds the opinion that Thomas Tuchel will still be part of the top four managers next season.
Jamie is also convinced that according to the kind business, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur could also be part to clubs that will contest for the top four next season.
The pundit dismissed hopes that Manchester United stands a chance to get back to that point despite having a new coaching guru this summer.
"Once they do that, then they will look to get back in the title race. But it's not going to be easy to get back into the top four this season and not just for United.
"You would expect [Manchester] City and Liverpool, Chelsea and Tottenham are getting stronger and Arsenal too." Carragher said.
