Chelsea's main objective this season is to win the Premier League for the first time in many years and also try and retain their Champions League trophy. The Blues got a 3-1 victory over Southampton over the weekend taking them to the top of the table with 16 points 1 ahead of Liverpool and 2 points ahead of Manchester City as we are heading for the International break.
Chelsea's most recent game featured a different color scheme than most people are accustomed to seeing them in. Despite the level of importance, the match was to Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel opted to use some young Chelsea graduates in the starting 11. Trevor Chalobah and Callum Hudson Odoi were all named in the starting 11. Reuben Loftus Cheek was also included in the starting 11 ahead of Jorginho.
Trevor Chalobah has surprised many this season after forcing his way into Thomas Tuchel's plan. The star scored his second goal this season against Southampton as he helped them win 3-1. Chalobah scored his first goal in his Chelsea debut as they played Crystal Palace.
He has also been solid this season at the back making some excellent tackles and passes. Trevoh Chalobah has the potential to be the next player who Chelsea can be proud of for years to come if they continue to be allowed to perform. Do you agree with what I'm saying?
