Kylian Mbappe has been among the rare highlights of this year’s World Cup courtesy of his brave performances for France. The 23 year old has 6 goal involvements so far in the competition but that doesn’t give the whole story of his contribution to France’s advancement into the Finals. His individual performances have been phenomenal and vastly influential in Didier Deschamps side.
“There is no doubt that Mbappe is the biggest talent in Europe right now. His club and international careers have been beyond successful and when you think about it, such a young player is bound for greatness due to the vast experience he already has. His motivation has never been in question for me,” claimed Didier Deschamps after yesterday’s crucial win.

Although far fetched, Manchester United have been linked with a move for Kylian Mbappe in the past few days. Ronaldo’s exit has paved way for the club to sign a high earning player in his place and Kylian Mbappe has stood out as the ideal investment for fans. Also taking into consideration Marcus Rashford’s links to PSG, a swap in the upcoming transfer windows would seem a sensible idea for both managers of respective clubs involved.

Marcus Rashford has finally rediscovered his spark and although he often came on as a substitute for England, his World Cup call up has done a lot of good on his confidence. That new acquired energy is expected to be projected in the soon-to-resume EPL and if he maintains his numbers high, he might strengthen the magnetic effect he has on PSG. The same can also be said about Kylian Mbappe who despite recording high numbers for PSG, needs a change of scenery because his relationship with his teammates is not affable at the moment.

Mbappe’s worth at the moment is unattainable for any club since he extended his contract in the summer but Manchester United’s Marcus Rashford is no small fish in the market. Many have agreed that it is time for both players to seek greener pastures elsewhere owing to their current circumstances in their respective clubs. A swap for me seems to be the ideal.
