With roughly less than two weeks after his sacking by Chelsea, Frank Lampard is already being linked with another job. According to Skysport, the former Blues manager is among the list of five managers who are being linked with a move to the championship side AFC Bournemouth. The Bournemouth board, is looking for a manager who has a little bit more experience with the championship to help them gain a promotion back to the Premier League this season.
They are currently standing at the sixth position in the championship with 42 points after 27 games. These are 13 points clear behind the league leaders Norwich City. This means that they are required to win thier next five games to at least come close to the three slots that are gain a promotion. They are fighting to get a promotion back to Premier League after one season of being relegated.
Frank Lampard is likely going to get that opportunity, since he had earlier helped Derby County to record a good performances before moving to Stamford Brigde. The 42-year old England international is tipped to take this chance to help them return back to the Premier League. This is following his experience earlier with Derby County in the previous two seasons before moving to Chelsea in 2019 to replace the Italian Maurizio Sarri.
