Old Trafford stadium remains deserted after a long awaited match between Manchester United and Liverpool was postponed, source files.
Manchester United accounts for the Lion's share of football fans in the world while Liverpool comes in the eleventh position after Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Arsenal, Bayern Munchen, Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea, Juventus and Borrussia Dortmond.
The main reason why the match has been delayed has eventually been made public by English Football federation.
It has been noted that fans forcefully entered Old Trafford stadium to watch the match, contrally to COVID 19 protocols.
This forced the security apparatus to use force to evict them from the stadium with fear of spreading Coronavirus.
Possible security threat has also contributed to postponement of the long awaited match because the police needed to conduct a forensic security check of the pitch to ascertain safety of players and team management.
The match has been rescheduled for 9:30 under strict security measures. Fans who had already gathered in social halls to watch the match are very annoyed with the postponement.
