Man United Spending Spree to Continue as they are Set to Rival Barcelona for Highly Rated Midfielder

A few days after the confirmation of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund, Manchester United spending spree seems set to continue after reports emerged of an impending bid.

Recent reports suggest that United are set to rival Barcelona for highly rated Croatian midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

This comes as a surprise to many as the club has always been timid when it comes to making transfers. Now they are set to go head to head with Spanish giants in order to capture the signature of Brozovic.

The 28 year old plays in midfielder for Inter Milan and his contract is set to expire after next season meaning United can get him at cut price.

Inter Milan have slapped a price of £26 million on the player to avoid him going for free. Brozovic was once linked with United rivals Liverpool before they went for Thiago Alcantara.

After Croatia was knocked out by Spain in dramatic fashion, Brozovic is free to talk to clubs if they can agree a few with Inter. United want to create a team to challenge for major trophies next season and Brozovic can be an important part in that.

What do you think? Is Brozovic good enough for United?
