From Maldives to Limuru Harambee Stars captain returns to the country ahead of Cameroon encounter

Good evening and welcome to my daily sports updates.Tap on the follow link on the top right corner if you haven't done so to receive more news.Welcome.

Kenyan striker Michael Olunga returned to the country after a week of holiday in Maldives. The Kenyan went to Limuru where he has been having a cold weather as he continues enjoying himself during the summer holiday. Olunga was nominated for the best player of the season award after finishing as the top scorer in Qatar. The Kenya will battle the award against Akram Afif of Al Sad and Jacinto Dala of Angola. The three will be hoping to win the award. For Olunga, he has already bagged his golden boot and winning player of the year award will only add ice on his cake.

Michael Olunga will not have to travel from abroad ahead of the Cameroon encounter as he is already in the country. The experienced striker will be tasked with helping Kenya to beat Cameroon for the first time in history. However, the chances of Kenya featuring in the qualifiers solely depends on FIFA's decision to uplift the indefinite ban meted on the national teams.Do you think Keenya will participate in the qualifiers?Feel free to share your comments in the comments section below.
