Real Madrid and Chelsea shared points, in a 1–1 draw, yesterday at the Estadio Alfredo Di Stefano in their first-leg Champions League semifinals with goals from Christian Pulisic and Karim Benzema for the visitors and hosts respectively in the first half period of the match.
The American International Pulisic had an outstanding game with his first-half strike made him set some new records in the EUFA Champions League history. He became the first American player to ever score in a champions league semifinal match and the youngest Chelsea football club player to score in a semifinal match in the competition with 22 years and 221 days.
The former Borussia Dortmund player was signed, by the Blues as a replacement of the current Real Madrid star and Belgian International Eden Hazard. He struggled during his first tenures at the Bridge but is currently showing promising signs of what to expect from him in the coming years with great talent being just 22 years old.
