Having watched the Series A games, I personally realised that, every single player had a bright-colored mark made from lipstick on their faces. However, this mark has never been new but to me I had to question myself what was the symbol of the mark.
For I know my reader could also be wondering, am going to enlighten you about it. Am certain that but the time you finish reading this article, you'll be satisfied with why these Serie A wear on the bright-coloured mark.
I believe you've seen a good number of Serie A stars wearing the same mark over the years. It has been seen Cristiano Ronaldo wearing it during his time with Juventus in the League, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, amongst other Serie A stars, have also worn the mark before.
I have purposely write this article in order to reveal for you the significance of the red-mark. If only you would be keen, you would've realised that, this show of solidarity often occurs in the weekends, surrounding November 25th every year. The main aim of the mark is to support women who are victims of Domestic violence.
Why 25th November?
November 25th is the International Day For The Elimination Of Violence Against Women. This provides us with the ideal reason as to why Serie A players always wear that mark in the weekends surrounding that particular date.
Actually, it started as a partnership between the players' association and the Italian humanitarian organisation known as WeWorld Onlus. Congratulations.
Some of the players have it on, during the games while others just go to social media to post pictures of them having that same mark alongside with their wives.
What's your point of view against these? Kindly share this article on various social media platforms, drop your point of view and like.
Am greatful for your time spent while reading this article to the end, thank you so much.
