The ongoing CAF continental competitions have been interesting for football fans across Africa. It is the most prestigious club competition that has drawn the best clubs together. The most successful African team Al Ahly from Egypt has even impressed in the Club World Cup Competition.
Gor Mahia and Tusker are the two representatives of Kenya in the ongoing CAF confederation and Champions league games. Gor Mahia played Al Ahly Merowe from Sunday away in Egypt, while Tusker will be facing Egyptian giants Zamalek.
Gor Mahia travelled a few days ago ahead of the big tie. They named a strong squad to face the Sudanese and they did not fail to deliver. The match began with Al Ahly Merowe netting the first goal of the match in the 41st minute. The game went into half time with the Sudan club leading.
It is after the half time period ended and the teams resumed the match when Gor Mahia showed a more improved display. Their Equalizer came in the 58 minute before youngster Benson Omalla netted a header to put the Kenyan giants ahead. Gor Mahia later extended the lead by adding their third goal.
Ulimwengu scored the last goal of the game in the 71 st minute.
