Krépin Diatta is a Senegalese professional footballer who plays as a winger for Ligue 1 club AS Monaco and the Senegal national team.

Diatta started his professional career at Norweigan side Sarpsborg 08 but was there for less than a year before being snapped up by Brugge on a four-year deal.

Diatta has made 10 appearances for Senegal and was named Young Player of the Tournament at the Africa Cup of Nations in 2019

He came into the limelight in 2 years ago after he scored a screamer goal for his national team, Senegal during their game against Tanzania at the Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt. 

However despite being celebrated, a section of Africans turned it into a moment of ridicule and shaming.
