Ghost Mulee defends his team selection as he looks to chop more players early tomorrow morning

Harambee stars tactician Ghost Mulee has been forced to come out clear on his team selection after leaving out big names. Kenyans demanded the experienced tactician to clear the air. Mulee claims that his team selection was based on transition and not on world cup qualifications.

He has chosen more than 80% players from the local league. The most talked about absentees include Timbe, Wanyama and Joash Onyango. When asked, Mulee claims that he wants to nurture players who will take the mantle when older players retire from the game.

Harambee stars will face Uganda on Thursday before flying to Kigali Rwanda for their next game on 5th. Kenya will be hoping for a win against Uganda. However, basing on statistics in the previous six matches, Kenya has never won against Uganda drawing five times while Uganda winning once. We wish the team all the best.
