Origi Finds A New Home In Norway

Arnold Origi has been Kenyan number one goal keeper from 2005 to date winning over 40 caps for the national team Harambee Stars.Despite the fact that he lost sometime out of the national team squad in 2017 when he acquired a Norwegian citizenship making his Kenyan passport invalid, he finally made a comeback to the squad in 2020 against Comoros in a two legged AFCON qualifiers.

Origi has been without a club since parting ways with Finnish top flight club HIFK Fotball in November 2020.All seems to be going his way currently as Norwegian second tier club Hodd FC have confirmed a one season successful deal with the Kenyan stopper after their number one goal keeper Ole Monrad Alme was ruled out of their squad due to a season long injury.

Origi who is 37 years old is expected to shine his way in Norway as he has played for many Norwegian clubs like Moss, Lillestrom, Fredrikstad among others.

As coach Ghost Mulee is on the verge of naming foreign based players for the Egypt and Togo ties, do you think he will consider Origi? Feel free to share your views on the comment section and remember to follow for more news.
