Arsenal: Wenger Talks on Returning to the Emirates, Bissouma Breaks Silence, Gabriel in BBC's TOTW

Arsene Wenger

Arsene Wenger has clarified that he is not interested in joining Arsenal anytime soon and that the media should stop triggering unnecessary excitement to the fans by reporting fake news. He however mentioned that he is considering taking a managerial role very soon but again reiterated that it will not be Arsenal.

“Arsenal holds a special place in my heart. Really. But my business with the club ended five years ago and I have no intentions of replacing the current coach. On whether I will coach again? There is a possibility I might try my luck again but then again, it is not assured.”

Yves Bissouma

Arsenal transfer target Yves Bissouma has finally broken silence over the rumors which had linked him to big EPL clubs such as Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United. In a recent interview, he said that he was very flattered by the rumors, but he is very happy at Brighton at the moment.

He said that the reason he did not move from the club are beyond his understanding but he believes that his time to leave Brighton has not yet come. He said that when the right and definite time to leave the club comes, he will do so but at the moment his full focus is on making it work at Brighton. During the transfer window, it was rumored that Brighton had placed a hefty €40 Million price tag on the Senegalese which fended off many suitor clubs.

Gabriel Magalhaes

Arsenal’s defender Gabriel Magalhaes has been included in BBC’s team of the week after the defender displayed an outstanding performance against Burnley over the weekend. The Brazilian defender won more duels in the game and deservedly earned a Man of the Match award for his spectacular performance. Going forward, Arsenal’s fraternity will be expecting more from the defender.
