Arsenal have turned their attention to Espanyol striker Raul de Tomas as an option since signing to Dusan Vlahovic seems complicated according to reports in Spain. Dusan Vlahovic is off the mark and he is set to join Juventus rather than Arsenal. The Turin club has gone ahead and agreed personal terms with the player's representatives.
The Gunners are so desperate in signing a striker after their efforts to sign Vlahovic in the January transfer after with an offer of £ 50 million plus Lucas Torreira to Fiorentina hit the rock.
Raul De Tomas, is in his third season with Spanish La Liga's Espanyol. The 27 year old has netted 11 goals in 20 La Liga appearances this season. However, the player's release clause in his contract with the Spanish club is £ 70m.
Espanyol signed the player back in January 2020 from Benfica in a total fee of £16.7m.
