Arsenal hosted Premier League strugglers Norwich City at Emirates optimistic to score their first EPL goal & clinch their first 3 points. The Gunners opened the first half with several chances being created & dominating the ball possession against Norwich. Manager Mikael Arteta started Bukayo Saka, Nicolas Pepe & Pierre Emerick Aubameyang in the attack while Tomiyasu, Ben White, Gabriel & Kieran Tierney started in the defence. Sambi Lokonga, Martin Odegaard & Maitland Niles were clean l, accurate & perfect in the midfield as they created over 10 chances in the first half.
Captain Aubameyang was sloppy & inaccurate in finishing as he couldn't hit the target most of the times in the first half after several clever passes from Pepe, Saka & Odegaard. Aubameyang scored Arsenal first Premier League goal of the season in the 72ndinute after Pepe deflected strike bounced on his right foot to score against Norwich City. Arsenal fans were impressed by Aubameyang leadership qualities & never say die mentality that saw the Gunners shine.
