The hosts resumed the 2nd half as the better side, however Brendan Rodger's charges remained solid in their defense line to ensure the match ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
In that match, American Skipper Christian Pulisic was to be blamed for the blues dropping 2 vital points. He missed clear cut chances throughout the game including a sitter in the 2nd half that would have handed the blues a crucial win.
