Man Utd: Unknown Fact About Ronaldo, Rashford's Programme Gains Recognition, and More

David De Gea

Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea’s recent performances have disputed critics who had said that the Spaniard’s time at Manchester United was over. David De Gea is currently the number one choice at the club, contradicting what had earlier been reported by the media that Dean Henderson had toppled De Gea for the number one spot.

Since his new season debut, De Gea has been outstanding, to say the least, and his performances have shown just how valuable an asset he is for the club despite his age. More than that, he has been very dominant and commanding at the defense which has seen Manchester United concede very few goals in the new season. As things stand, it will be very difficult for Dean Henderson to fight for a position in the Manchester United squad.

Cristiano Ronaldo

According to inside sources, Cristiano Ronaldo had preferred to wear the number 28 jersey when he joined Manchester United back in 2003 but the then manager Sir Alex Ferguson convinced him to take the number 7 shirt since Ferguson explained that he had recruited him at Old Trafford in order to replace David Beckham. Ronaldo had initially worn the number 28 jersey number at Sporting Lisbon and thus his desire to wear the number 28 at Manchester United.

Now, the CR7 brand is worth Millions of money since it has been contracted to many endorsements deals by numerous mega-companies. Edinson Cavani was recently stripped off of the number 7 jersey despite claiming it after the arrival of Jadon Sancho. Ronaldo has already lived up to the expectations of the jersey number having scored 4 goals in his last three appearances for the Red Devils.

Marcus Rashford

Marcus Rashford’s food campaign is reportedly going to be included in the GCSE in Britain after education experts agreed that the program bears educational essence for school-going children. It has also been revealed that the British government will financially boost the campaign so that it can reach more schools in the country. Marcus Rashford has been doing humanitarian programs in the country which have been assisting needy and homeless families, particularly children.
