Celebrations as Club Wants to Sell Target to Chelsea, Agreement in Place

Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen to La Liga, Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be looking to strengthen his entire squad in the summer transfer window.

The German tactician is said to have seen Chelsea's new owner, Roman Abramovich, yesterday but did not discuss club transfers, despite rumours that a club wants to sell a target to Chelsea and is just looking for a speedy deal.

According to Express Sport, Sevilla is interested in selling French defender Jules Kounde to Chelsea and has already reached a verbal deal.

Kounde, 23, is a long-term goal for Chelsea heavyweights despite missing out on a deal a year ago due to a financial conflict.

Tuchel is a major fan of Kounde and sees him as the ideal replacement for Rudiger, who is likely to join Real Madrid as a free agent.

Meanwhile, Aurelien Tchouameni remains on Tuchel's transfer wishlist as a possible Ngolo Kante successor.
