Chelsea football club begun their UEFA Champions league campaign as they played against Zenit St Peterborough at the Stamford Bridge.
Thomas Tuchel, Ngolo Kante, Jorginho and Eduard Mendy were given their last season's awards before kick off.
The Blues struggled playing against the Russian champions who were superb in the most part of the match, but Romelu Lukaku won the game for Chelsea after scoring a towering header and handed the man of the match award.

However, BT Sport pundit Eni Aluko believes that Romelu Lukaku did not do enough to deserve the man of the match award.
Eni Aluko stated: "And he only needs one chance. He actually didn’t play that well. You saw in a clip there his lay-off play wasn’t great. Sometimes it looked like he needed an extra touch."
This is a great claim from the pundit but as per Chelsea fans, Romelu Lukaku played well and delivered when he was required to.
