New Harambee Stars head coach Engin Firat has today described his plans for the national team. This was in an exclusive interview that was shared on Harambee Stars Facebook page. When asked about his philosophy, he described it as belief in pure Hardwork for succes and not in luck. Therefore for you to achieve results, you must train hard and also work hard on the pitch.
The Harambee Stars man who has been handed a two month contract added that he is one of the coaches who doesn't believe or know why the 4:2:3:1 line up is loved by other managers.
He wonders why you should leave a good striker on the bench just because you want to stick to a particular line up.He pre-empted the idea of playing two strikers upfront as this he believes makes the team more of a threat going forward.
This seems to be a fresh start for Kenya going forward as we have been used to a lone striker upfront. That has seen Michael Olunga always isolated upfront. The other parts off interview were yet to be posted.
