Confirmed; Arsenal Reach An Agreement To Sign Defender, Medicals Expected Soon.

Arsenal are keen on setting up an invulnerable squad next season. They have ventured into the transfer market in style aiming to land fruitful goal scorers who would get the job done in the opponents' box.

It has been confirmed that the Emirates side have reached an agreement to sign a forward with robust attacking displays ahead of the summer transfer window.

Brazilian side, Sao Paulo have agreed a fee of around €3.5m for their striker Marquinhos to join the Gunners. He has been on Arsenal radar for the past few weeks and set to reach the threshold of the workable move to the Premier League.

This is after the future of Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are in doubt with Mikel Arteta's side next season. Medicals are expected soon and paper work done to seal the transfer for Marquinhos.

Meanwhile, Arsenal are also considering selling their defender, Gabriel at the end of the campaign. The Brazil international has attracted interest from Italian giants Juventus after a sterling run of performance this season.
