Sofapaka FC have parted ways with their head coach Ken Odhiambo after a series of unsuccessful results in the Kenya premier league. According to the press release posted by sports journalist Kevin Teya, the tactician was relieved of his duties and his assistant David Ouma has taken over for the period remaining. Ouma will be tasked with the work of ensuring Sofapaka FC alias Batoto Ba Mungu returns to their winning ways.
The Kenyan side has been in the top flight league since they were promoted and looks like their form has gone under the radar. However, they will be hoping for a resurgence in the coming weeks after the international break. Elsewhere, Cameroon, Senegal, Tunisia, Morocco and Ghana will be the African representatives in Qatar world cup. The five countries qualified after a two legged affair. We wish Ouma all the best as he looks to help Sofapaka FC gain their momentum.
