Chelsea Star Extends His Contract Despite Having A Transfer Agreement With Another European Top Club

Chelsea FC have been having a busy transfer window since it was opened. The Blues have been so active through the ownership of Todd Boehly who has made sure that they have signed world class players including Raheem Sterling who signed from Manchester City and Kalidou Koulibaly who has come as a replacement for Antonio Rudigger who made a nove to Real Madrid

However, Chelsea has always wanted to offload some players and of latest interest was Cesar Azpilicueta. The Chelsea Captain had been linked with Xavi's side, Barcelona for quite some time. However iy seems Barcelona have to look for another option since the player has signed a 2 year deal with Chelsea

Barcelona had an agreement with Azpilicueta ona two year contract but no agreement with Chelsea on the fee. The Spanish International has been considered as key player and a leader and through a direct phone call Todd and Tuchel asked him to stay and he agreed to stay for another 2 years

The deal will be completed and soon the announcement will be made official
