According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal are set to offer head coach Mikel Arteta a new two-year contract.
Arteta took charge of managerial duties back in December 2019, with his current deal set to expire in the summer of 2023. It is a boost to the club and to the fans to have Mikel Arteta in Arsenal for a longer time.
Mikel Arteta is a critical member of the club. He has contributed largely in shaping Arsenal's perfomance as well as nurturing young talents in Arsenal. Young promising players such as Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe have been brought up under his guidance. Mikel Arteta has achieved a lot in Arsenal. He lifted FA cup as well as Community shield cup.
The Spanish manager has best plans for Arsenal in future. Arteta is determined to make Arsenal a competent club that can face any strong team in the world. He is not only focusing on present Arsenal but also future Arsenal.
Arsenal should extend Mikel Arteta's contract as alluded since he is determined to serve the Gunners.
