Rejuvenated Newcastle United Adds Another Manchester United Superstar in Their Shopping List

Newcastle United is the current richest club in the world after being acquired by oil billionaires from Saudi Arabia. The new owners paid £300m to Mike Ashley, buying 80 percent of the club shares. This means that no club in Europe including Manchester City and Paris Saint Germaine can compete with Newcastle United's current financial capacity.

Newcastle United is one of the biggest names and clubs in Europe that wants to return to glorious days under new management who have proposed radical changes including appointing a new boss and new players.

Among the players in Newcastle, radar includes Burnley defender James Towkoski and Manchester United forward Anthony Martial. The Burnley defender is open to moving to St James Park once the transfer window is opened. It is understood that Newcastle has approached Manchester United to inquire about the possibility of significant French forward Anthony Martial.

Manchester United forward Jessee Lingard is the latest player whom Newcastle United has added to their transfer shopping list. The Magpies want to strengthen their squad as they look to return to European competition.

Both Anthony Martial and Jessee Lingard have struggled for game time under Ole Gunnar Solkjaer. Lingard recently turned down a contract extension offer from Manchester United wanting to be assured of game time, which has been difficult to come in recent weeks.

He turned down an offer to move to Newcastle United last January on loan and favored joining David Moyes at West Ham United. He will now consider the move if Newcastle makes a formal approach.
