Just two days after president Uhuru Mwigai Kenyatta flagged- off officially of 2020 World Rally Championship in Nairibi on Friday;Sebastian Ogier with his navigator Julien Ingrassia have emerged as the world champions for the same. 
This comes after his greatest rival Neuville,a Belgian driver,who had 57.4 seconds earlier on,retired as a result of his Hyundai vehicle broke its rear right damper on stage 14 hence giving Sebastian an easy way to win the race.
On the other hand, Takamoto Katsuta,the Japanese driver's hopes detoriated when his Toyota got damaged halfway through the day's first 11.3 kilometers stage.(Courtesy of Standard Digital) .
Addressing the media after presenting the awards to the winners,president Uhuru Kenyatta thanked everyone for showing up to the event and assured Kenyans tha the country shall host the Championships annually till 2026 something Kenyans should be proud of now that the event has placed Kenya on a global map as the best country for investment and fruitful economy omic growth.
The former premier Honorable Raila Odinga congratulated Sebastian Ogier with his navigator Julien Ingrassia for their sterling performance at the championship.
