Why Ragnick Can't get a Work permit Automatically

German international, Ralph Ragnick is set to take over as Manchester United Interim manager after Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked due to poor managerial performance.

To take over at Old Trafford, Ragnick will need to convince a Football Association panel of his managerial credentials to receive a work permit.

Since he hasn't managed a top-flight club in Europe for a long period in the previous five years, it is clear that he does not meet the Football Association for a Governing Body Endorsement (GBE).

Although he took over RB Leipzig in 2015/16 and 2018/19 seasons, it is not enough to secure a work permit immediately as compared to Antonio Conte who took over as Tottenham head coach because he recently managed Inter-milan and Chelsea.

The 63-year-old arrived in the United Kingdom on Monday night due to Covid-19 restrictions that might come into effect, and he is staying at a hotel in Manchester.
